Wowo has five main camping areas where you can pitch your tent: Lower Brook, Middle Brook, Lower Moat, Grassy Field, Upper Moat, and Tipi Trail. All of the campsites have access to the central facilities and have firefits with furniture and trivets for your camping feasts. There are four main shower and toilet blocks near the reception area and further full-flushing toilet blocks in the camping fields for convenience. You’ll also have access to the Camp Barn to chill out in, chargers, laundry rooms, washing-up blocks, fridges and freezers, an onsite shop, a shared workspace with wifi, and play areas for the kids.
full flushing toilet blocks in every field, as well as more shower and loo blocks at reception which are all cleaned regularly. Several washing up blocks, family shower block, laundry room, camping barn with sofas and charging lockers, shared workspace with wifi for parents that need some quiet.
Lower Brook is the first field you will come across and is just left from reception. It’s the smallest field and has the brook flowing along the southern edge along with wooded areas that make the area feel enclosed and sheltered. The pitches here are ideal for families looking for a quieter camping break but there’s also a play area for the kids to have fun.
Middle Brook is on the left of reception and parallel to the northern side of the brook. The top half of the clover field is the designated camping area and the rest is used as an open play field for games. It’s the closest campsite to the central facilities and at the far end, there is a bridge leading to the Tipi Trail woodland.
Lower Moat is where you’ll find Wowo’s ‘village’ area and is the central camping area surrounded by a hand-dug Roman moat. If you like being in the heart of the action and hustle and bustle, the village is where you’ll find all of the entertainment and workshops.
Grassy Field is home to Wowo’s wild spa so if you want some camping pampering, this is the field to choose. It’s ideal for large groups and families and has a large play area and swings for the kids to play.
Upper Moat is one of the more off-grid-feel sites and is the furthest from reception. Surrounded by forest and adjacent to the moat, you’ll also be right next to Tipi Trail if any friends are glamping there.
Tipi Trail is where you’ll find the premium glamping pitches and a little more seclusion than the other fields. Immersed in the forest, there are eight pitches that offer an enchanting forest camping experience.
